However starting with the trial Seat of Sacrifice, the Warrior of Light gains the power to summon their friends to their side, giving the Duty Finder an explanation in-universe. For most of the game the Duty Finder is simply an out of universe gameplay mechanic and does not have a role in the story, with most dungeon quests simply having a character ask the Warrior of Light to go and gather allies before entering.
